The Pride of London has learned from a very inside source about some very shocking developments. In an attempt to shake things up, Jose Mourinho has sent world-class forward Eden Hazard out on loan to English League One side Coventry City.

More from Chelsea FC News

Some have speculated it was done to give new signee Juan Cuadrado some more playing time, or to make room for a big summer signing such as Douglas Costa or Gareth Bale.

However, in a press conference,  JoseMourinho revealed it was for a much different reason.

"I read the team sheet this morning and I did not understand why Thorgan Hazard was there. I thought that this must be some kind of mistake, as he’s not ready for Premier League football yet, so I sent him to the third tier where he belongs."

Afterwards, he refused to take any questions, and so all the reporters were left in shock. We at Pride of London had a decidedly similar reaction upon first hearing the news:

Certainly one should question the Special One’s status as a world-class manager after this, as even David Moyes wouldn’t make a mistake this big. Certainly the press will be all over this story by next morning, and the scrutiny surrounding this baffling move may be enough to drive him out of town.

This move has now left Chelsea without their most creative attacking player for the rest of the season as they look to finish the current campaign as Premier League champions. However, Coventry City are very much a team on the rise, and they should be delighted with the addition of a world-class player like Eden Hazard. We wish him all the best.

And if you’ve made it this far, we’d like to wish you a happy April Fools Day, and be careful what you read today.
