Leicester are one point ahead of Sunderland out of the drop zone and currently sit 17th in the table. They do have a better goal different then most of their relegation rivals such as Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers, and Burnley but they are in serious danger of being relegated. However they do also have a much easier schedule then some of the others.

Hull City for example still has to face Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal whileLeicester will be playing mostly it’s fellow relegation rivals until the end of the season. A win or any result against Chelsea FC would be an excellent boost to their chances of staying top but even a loss as long as the damage is minimized would be okay for the Foxes.

As for Chelsea they come in to this match 10 points clear of the top with a match in hand against Manchester city. This match againstLeicester is that game in hand and a win is not necessary but would be an excellent way to start the week. Chelsea FC need six points from their following remaining five matches in order to officially clinch the title.

They face Crystal Palace on Sunday at Stamford Bridge so a win today and the win Sunday would see them mathematically crowned champions. Being able to clinch that title at home should be more than enough motivation to smash Leicester and handle business against a resilient Crystal Palace side on Sunday.

Lester has injury concerns at the striker position as David Nugent and Jamie Vardy are doubts for the match. For Chelsea, Loic Remy is out, as is Diego Costa, and Oscar is supposedly available for the match but it would be surprising to see him on the team sheet after losing consciousness in the collision last Sundy.

Didier Drogba is not fully recovered from a hamstring injury so we may see him come off the bench or start as there is no other option. Thibaut Courtois is also supposedly carrying a slight injury so we may get a chance to see Petr Cech today.
