Chelsea FC: 5 Reasons For Signing Radamel Falcao
Falcao is back in familiar surroundings
Something that has been rather overlooked so far is the fact that at Stamford Bridge, Falcao will be closer to home than anyone could imagine.
With the Blues raiding Atlético Madrid last summer, Falcao will find friendly faces in the likes of Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, both of whom he played alongside in Spain. That’s not to mention Thibaut Courtois either, who was between the sticks for both of the Colombian’s seasons at the Vicente Calderon.
International teammate Juan Cuadrado will/may also be there. If there’s any sort of atmosphere that could get this man firing again, West London is trying its best to replicate it.
