Jose Callejon, Antonio Candreva And All The Latest Chelsea FC Transfer Rumours
The football season may be over, but the transfer season is in full swing. It’s the last of the month, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.
- Jose Callejon’s agent has addressed supposed interest from Chelsea about bringing the former Real Madrid star to Stamford Bridge, writes The Express. Having reportedly made a £15.5million offer for the forward, Manuel Garcia Quillon has moved to dismiss the rumour by stating that he has had no contact with the Blues.

- Chelsea are looking to sign Antonio Candreva, claims The Metro. Having been snubbed for the Lazio captaincy, the Italy international is now open to a departure from the club, with the Blues looking to add another winger before the transfer window shuts.
- The Metro also notes that Jose Mourinho is lining up another Italy-based player. In an attempt to sure up his defensive options, the boss is reportedly interested in 24-year-old Faouzi Ghoulam. The Napoli full-back has been strongly linked with Arsenal so far this summer.
- Chelsea will look to change up their negotiating tactics before submitting a third bid for John Stones, reports The Telegraph. Having had two offers turned away, Blues chairman Bruce Buck will try and verbally broker a deal with his Everton counterpart, in order to ‘avoid any more mud-slinging over the central defender’.
