The transfer season is in full swing, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.
- The Daily Mail claims that Everton will reject Chelsea’s third bid for John Stones. After rebuffing the Blues with their first two offers of £20million and £26m, the Toffees will also fail to accept the latest deal worth around £30m. The paper reports that it would need something nearer to the £35m mark to force Roberto Martinez to part with his young defender.
- The Blues have now reached a deal regarding the fee for Abdul Baba Rahman, writes The Guardian. After much debate and no-one really knowing what was going on, the last stumbling block is thought to have been negotiated. The initial fee will be £14million, with bonuses giving the deal a potential of reaching £20m. He is reportedly in London for his medical.
- Chelsea have announced yet another loan deal for one of their youngsters. Cristian Cuevas will head to the Belgian top division and join Sint-Truidense for the rest of the 2015/16 campaign. This takes the number of Blues players out on loan to about 372, approximately.
