The transfer season is in full swing, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.

  • Chelsea have finally submitted the third offer for Everton’s John Stones, writes The Guardian. Having already been rejected in their bids of £20m and £26m, the Blues have now returned with an offer worth around £30million. However, despite this large amount of money, Roberto Martinez is still set to rebuff the proposition with the Toffees valuing the youngster closer to £35million.
  • The Daily Mail reports that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is supposedly making enough money available for the club to buy three more players. After Chelsea’s poor start to the season, Roman will appease Jose Mourinho by handing him sufficient funds to make some much-needed signings. The boss is apparently targeting a defender, midfielder, and an attacking player.
  • Chelsea are sending representatives to Italy in order to negotiate a deal for Godfred Donsah, according to The Metro. The Cagliari midfielder is highly-rated and has attracted the eye of many clubs across Europe including the Blues. Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen on his signature and thus plans to seal a deal for the 19-year-old this week.
