The transfer season is in full swing, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.

John Stones

The John Stones-Chelsea transfer saga continues, with the player now trying to personally engineer the move. After Jose Mourinho left the ball in his court by indicating that the onus was on the player to force Everton to accept a Blues bid, reports have now surfaced claiming that Stones has gone to Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright to request that the deal be sanctioned. Chelsea’s back-line again looked shaky against West Brom and they certainly do need him. Hopefully, the intervention from the player will prevent the Blues from paying well over the odds.

"Stones will officially ask to leave and take his request to join Chelsea to the Goodison board, who are unlikely to block it.[Bill] Kenwright knows that a British record deal for a defender is good business for a player picked up from Barnsley for just £3m. – The Express"

Alexander Pato

If the Blues are still in the market for a striker, another one has apparently landed on their doorstep as Alexandre Pato has been offered to Chelsea. The former AC Milan man is currently at Brazilian club Corinthians but has been in poor form. Having spent time on loan at Sao Paolo, the Blues (along with Mamchester United) have been made aware of his availability.

"Manchester United and Chelsea have both been offered the chance to sign the Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, who is available for around £11million.It would be a huge surprise for either United or Chelsea to sign Pato…but a deal has been put to them – The Telegraph"

Juan Cuadrado

Juan Cuadrado is reportedly on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge. With the arrival of Pedro, the Colombian has fallen further down a pecking order in which he was already near the bottom. Cuadrado has been a massive disappointment thus far for Chelsea, so much so that the club are willing to sell him barely six months after he moved to West London.

"Now we know that Juventus will indeed take the winger on loan for the 2015-16 season for a fee believed to be just £1.5m with no option to buy. – The Pride Of London"
