Chelsea FC’s FIFA 16 Ratings

Cesar Azpilicueta’s transition to a leftback is all but complete now that FIFA has established his place there. Is he still considered playing out of position if he has been playing it for three years now? The rating for Dave is criminally low considering he is one of the best defenders in the Premier League. Both Jordi Alba and Marcelo are rated higher than the Spanish international and while they may provide more offense they are nowhere near the defender he is.
Branislav Ivanovic lost a point in his ratings but Chelsea FC fans would argue he should be rated even lower after a series of disastrous performances this season. He has become the focal points of Chelsea fans’ discontent with the squad and they may even swap him for Rahman or Azpilicueta when they fire up the demo.
We have yet to see Chelsea’s latest fullback addition Abdul Baba Rahman play any minutes for the club but FIFA and the folks at EA Sports seem to think very highly of the defender. He compares favorably to Manchester City’s Aleksandar Kolarov who is rated at 79. Baba’s rating has jumped seven points in the last year and for good reason. He was one one of the best fullbacks in the Bundesliga last season and is beginning to establish himself as a first-team regular for the Black Stars of Ghana.
