The Premier League returns on Saturday when Chelsea FC take on Everton
Chelsea FC return to the action in the first Premier League fixture of the weekend. The Blues will desperately be hoping to register a win against Everton as they look to truly start their season on the back of the international break.

Jose Mourinho’s men have only managed to obtain four points from their first four league games. An opening day draw with Swansea City was followed by a humiliating loss to Manchester City, a bounce-back win against West Brom and a thoroughly disappointing defeat by Crystal Palace.
The top performers have just not been up to scratch for Chelsea and it has been hurting them significantly. Eden Hazard has been largely anonymous, depriving the club of their foremost creative player. The good news is that the Belgian scored twice on international duty and hopefully he will be able to carry his goalscoring form over into Saturday’s game.
The defence in particular has been poor. Opposing teams have looked like scoring each time that they have ventured forward and the likes of Branislav Ivanovic have put in shifts that would not be out of place in League 2. Blues fans will be crossing their fingers that the backline has been invigorated by the time away from Cobham.
Everton, meanwhile, have been in mixed form so far this season, picking up five points from their four games. Having said that, their opposition has been comprised of Watford, Manchester City, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. Roberto Martinez will most probably be looking to escape yet another tough game with a point.
There are also several subplots given the John Stones transfer saga and the subsequent war of words between Martinez and Mourinho. It will be interesting to see whether the defender plays and how both sides will cope with the added dimensions to the clash.
