Pedro featured as a sub in the League Cup clash and came on to bag himself a goal. He has shown glimpses of his innate quality but has not dazzled onlookers as yet. Again it must be stated that Walsall are a League One club so even though he brought some party tricks to the Bescot Stadium, it doesn’t really count for much.

Having said that, he does represent Chelsea’s big summer signing and certainly has the potential to grab a game by the scruff of its neck so Mourinho will likely keep the faith.
