Chelsea’s wingers have been terrible this season. Eden Hazard has been performing on a level that makes comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo laughable at best, idiotic at worst. Ramires, meanwhile, changed the game against Newcastle. His introduction injected the Blues with pace and a work-rate that seemed alien to his teammates.
Ramires is the man of the moment and he has an opportunity to show just how good he can be.
