Who’s going to start on Saturday? I have no idea, but I shall pretend that I do.

Chelsea FC play host to Southampton as Ronald Koeman’s outfit look to take advantage of the Blues’ poor form. After a loss to Porto that plunged Chelsea further into chaos, it will be interesting to see how Jose Mourinho lines up his men on Saturday afternoon.

While the Blues started the campaign in poor fashion, they managed to put together a run of three consecutive wins to project an image of having turned their season around. This would only be a mirage, though, as Chelsea would scrape an underserved point against Newcastle United and lose against Porto days later.

Southampton, meanwhile, are coming to Stamford Bridge on the back of an impressive win against Swansea City and the Saints are certain to be up for this contest. They know that the Blues are vulnerable at the moment and given their tendency to play free-flowing attacking football, Asmir Begovic may well be very busy on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho is under-pressure and team selection will be key in securing a victory this weekend. Will Branislav Ivanovic start? Does Abdul Baba Rahman exist?

All these questions (and more!) will be answered when the team sheets are handed in at 16:30 on Saturday afternoon. Until then, here is how we think Chelsea will line up.
