Chelsea FC Ladies are the Champions of England for the first time in their history.

In 2014, a final game of the season loss to Manchester City Women handed the title to Liverpool Ladies, this season Chelsea had to win the last game to ensure that Man City didn’t snatch the title themselves at the death this time.
An emphatic 4-0 home win in front of a record crowd of 2710 against Sunderland AFC Ladies on Sunday 4th October 2015 ensured there would be no last match heartache this time however.
No one can deny that the ladies of Chelsea FC have fully deserved the title this year with the highest number of goals scored (30), the least number of goals conceded (10), the highest number of clean sheets (8) and of course the highest points tally (32).
In addition to winning the FAWSL title, the Blues also won the 2015 Women’s FA Cup Final for the first time on the 1st August meaning it truly has been a season of historic firsts for the club.
