Blues winger Pedro has stated that he is pleased with his move to Chelsea, despite the club’s poor form.
Pedro joined Chelsea FC this summer in a daring transfer swoop. With a switch to Manchester United seemingly signed and sealed, Marina Granovskaia led the the Blues delegation to prize the Barcelona ace from under Ed Woodward’s nose.

However, Chelsea have been faltering significantly in their campaign so far, and Pedro’s arrival has done little to help matters. Nevertheless, the Spanish international insists that he is pleased with his decision to leave the Nou Camp.
"When someone gets to play, they gain rhythm, confidence, you’re happier, you try out more things. Leaving Barca was tough for me but I’m happy with the change."
Pedro had won literally everything available on the planet during his time with Barcelona. However, his playing time was dwindling as a consequence of Neymar and Luis Suarez joining the club and the winger took his opportunity to move in search of regular football.

Much has been said about the last-minute change of destination from Old Trafford to Stamford Bridge and the player has since stated that Chelsea appeared more eager to sign him. Pedro has also said that the presence of international teammates Cesc Fabregas, Cesar Azpilicueta and Diego Costa helped him settle in quickly.
"They’ve been a great support to me. The adaptation has been quicker given I already knew them from here and they’ve treated me very well in the dressing room, showing me how the club works."
While the player may have settled in off the field, unfortunately the same cannot be said with regard to on-field matters. After scoring on his Blues debut against West Brom, the winger has failed to make any sort of impact on any subsequent game. In fact, it seems as though he has been getting steadily worse.
Having said that, Pedro’s performances are right in line with those of the team. The Spaniard has been infected by mediocrity since arriving and looks unable to break out of his rough patch.

The squad are now in the middle of a much-needed break as they turn their attention to international matters. Some time away from Cobham and Stamford Bridge might be exactly what the players and management need as they gather their thoughts. Diego Costa has already confessed to turning up overweight to pre-season training and the club will require more self-evaluation if they are to find their form again.
Hopefully Pedro will also be able to figure out where he has been going wrong. Chelsea need him.
