Chelsea FC: Top 10 Oscar Goals
5. Brentford, 27/01/13
FA Cup, Griffin Park
While the previous effort saw Oscar be integral to a team move, this goal shows that Oscar can certainly do it on his own if he has to.
On a potentially tricky away day at Brentford (anything can happen in the FA Cup), Oscar stepped up to the plate to bag Chelsea a goal. A Ryan Bertrand cross was poorly cleared by the Bees defence, with the ball headed straight up into the air.
Oscar, tracking away from goal, took the ball down instantly and in the process turned his defender. He then nipped around two other Brentford players before stabbing it with the outside of his right foot (a bit of theme is developing here). Top corner, enough said.
This game was indeed a tough one for a struggling Blues squad at the time. A late Fernando Torres equaliser was required to spare their blushes and force a replay at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea subsequently won the return fixture.
