Chelsea FC: 6 People Who Could Replace Jose Mourinho
3. Diego Simeone
Diego Simeone is arguably the hottest property in football management. The Argentine returned to the team with which he won a La Liga and a Copa Del Rey as a player only to achieve greater success as a manager.
In his trademark black suit, black shirt and black tie, Simeone cuts an always-energetic figure on the Atletico Madrid touchline, as he inspires his team to win after win.

Since taking over in 2011, he has moulded Atleti in his unique image, emphasising work-rate and commitment to each other. His style of football has brought them an Europa League, a Copa Del Rey and more impressively a league title.
Atletico once again look set to challenge on all three fronts and they may even have a chance to avenge that heartbreaking 2014 Champions League final loss.
While Simeone will be high on the list, there are doubts over whether his style of management would fit in at Stamford Bridge. Hell, there are doubts over whether he would want to leave this incredible Atleti side as well.
With the apparent divas in Chelsea’s squad, Simeone’s brand of high-intensity, in-your-face football is unlikely to lend itself to the lethargy that many of the Blues players operate with.
Furthermore, having committed to Atletico until 2020, Simeone may be set on finishing the transformation of the other Madrid club into a global footballing powerhouse.
