Chelsea FC At The Emirates: 4 Post-Match Musings

Chelsea FC gained a very satisfying three points at the Emirates last Sunday. Here are four post-match musings coming out of the contest.

A massive 3 points gained away at Arsenal, meaning that a side currently in 14th place have now taken all available points against a side touted as title contenders! And the icing on the cake was that the Blues managed to go another 90 minutes without conceding a goal against the Gunners.

But unfortunately, that is where the positives stop! Even in victory, the Blues put up a completely lacklustre showing and despite the fact that Arsenal had gone a man down as early as the 19th minute, they seemed the more likely to score from the moment Diego Costa put the Blues one goal up. Chelsea FC had Mark Clattenburg to thank for finally deciding to make the right call by sending off Per Mertesacker after a string of disappointing calls.
