3. John Terry Injured

Though there is do diagnosis yet, Chelsea could have suffered another devastating loss in central defense. Last week Kurt Zouma suffered a ligament injury that ended his season, with Gary Cahill being his natural replacement. Today, John Terry was in some discomfort after colliding in an aerial challenge with Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Terry tried to continue, but was deemed unfit to play on. Baba Rahman came on at left back, pushing Branislav Ivanovic into central defense, and Cesar Azpilicueta into his natural right back role.

Mentally, there is no replacing your captain, leader, and a club legend, but who would replace Terry on the field if need be? Ivanovic has some experience in central defense, and would be the most likely option. New boy Matt Miazga is an interesting one, but it would be unfair to throw him right in against some high profile opponents that are looming on the horizon.
