Chelsea FC took a trip to Paris to renew their rivalry with Paris Saint-Germain in their latest UEFA Champions League fixture. This would mark the third consecutive year that the sides have met in the UCL, and many were predicting another close encounter between the two.

Both clubs went into the game dealing with issues of varying levels. PSG were left without Serge Aurier, their first choice right back, after an implosion on periscope. Chelsea would face a number of injuries and suspensions. Nemanja Matic, Kurt Zouma, and arguably most important John Terry wouldn’t be available for the match.

While the Blues fell 2-1, there were positives to take from the match. Here are five talking points surrounding the action.
