3. Eden Hazard still has a long way to go until he is back to his best

I have been very critical of Eden Hazard this season as have many fans. Today against Southampton he deserves credit for showing a good work-rate and playing for the team. He constantly followed his man and tracked back whilst there were glimpses of his dribbling ability and space creation in attack.

However, the Belgian is still very far from his best and has gone 300 days without scoring a Premier League goal. An absurd fact given that he was the best player in the league last year.

We expect more from the Hazard and so we should. Yet at the very least he is showing the work-rate and team ethic that once again, slowly but surely, is characterising this Chelsea FC team.
