Chelsea FC Beat Norwich City 2-1: Five Talking Points

2. Chelsea Strike Early
As previously stated, The Canaries are currently struggling for points, and find themselves right in the thick of the relegation battle. It would be helpful then, if the Blues were able to put pressure on early, and assert their dominance right from the get go.
Unlike games in the past, they actually did just that. Cesc Fabregas was given room in the middle of the park almost straight from the kickoff, and found Kenedy. Making just his second Barclays Premier League start, the Brazilian ran at his defender and sent a shot low to the far post that beat John Ruddy.
With not even a minute gone, Chelsea were 1-0 up. While the hosts did lift themselves up with a couple of half chances, it was clear that the quick goal startled them, and in turn settled Chelsea into a comfort zone.
