5. Unbeaten Run Continues

Another game unbeaten for Hiddink and Chelsea, an impressive 12 in a row. It’s easy to forget that Chelsea were once languishing at the bottom of the Barclays Premier League table, but now they’re securely in the top half. If the squad continue to play at even half the level they’re currently at, automatic qualification for the Europa League is an attainable goal.

While many fans will be disappointed with an inevitable failure to make the Champions League, making the second tier competition via league position would show just how far the team has come since the dreadful start to the season.
