Well, it is a Sunday, and there is not much flying around that isn’t Leicester City-related, so here is something that suggests Miralem Pjanic wants to join Chelsea FC.

Rumours are rife that Antonio Conte is set to be revealed as the next Chelsea boss imminently. With that, reports claim that the Stamford Bridge brass have already started work on his transfer wish list. One of the players believed to be a top priority is Miralem Pjanic.

One eagle-eyed Twitter user has added fuel to this fire by noticing that the AS Roma player liked a tweet linking to an article which discussed how Pjanic would fit in with the Blues.

Evidently, this could easily mean nothing at all. But, it’s Sunday and Chelsea’s draw with Stoke has been somewhat forgotten amongst the euphoria surrounding yet another Leicester City win.

So, let’s continue to brush over what was a disappointing display at Stamford Bridge and consider this intriguing development instead.

Stories earlier this week claimed that Marina Granovskaia and other Chelsea officials had met with the midfielder’s representatives to discuss the possibility of a deal. They were told that his contract includes a buy-out clause of just over £30 million while his wage demands would be around £60,000 a week. With the news doing the rounds, perhaps Pjanic is trying to subtly state his desire for a switch?

Or perhaps he was on his phone and accidentally clicked like. Given that I almost bought a fridge on my phone by accident, this is probably the real reason.

But still??? Maybe this is part of a subliminal campaign to force the move?

Nope.

Oh well. Enjoy your Sunday folks. Just to say, I would love it if Liverpool lose 17-0 before Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion slug it out in a 8-8 thriller.
