Wednesday evening saw Stamford Bridge overcome with disappointment as PSG clinically completed the job. Adrien Rabiot and Zlatan Ibrahimovic rendered Diego Costa’s effort unnecessary as the French champions dumped the Blues out of the Champions League.

This afternoon sees Guus Hiddink’s men make the trip to Goodison Park for a FA Cup quarter-final. Given that this is the only competition in which Chelsea have something to play for, a win is vital. Everton will pose plenty of attacking threat, but their porous defence leaves them vulnerable until the final whistle, as West Ham showed last weekend.

Here is how the Blues could line up for this season-defining clash.
