Chelsea FC and West Ham United face off in a Premier League clash this afternoon. Here is how our staff writers see the game playing out.

Slaven Bilic’s West Ham team visit Stamford Bridge this afternoon full of confidence. The Hammer are flying high and will heavily back themselves to take all three points from a Chelsea FC team in disarray. Ahead of the game, I’ve had a whip-round The Pride Of London office to get some predictions from our writers.

Khaled Abdallah: I have very little confidence in Chelsea at the moment. I just want to see some fight from the team the way they showed against Southampton. They rolled over for Stoke and did the same against PSG and Everton. That being said, I think West Ham wins 2-1 against a lackluster Chelsea side that seems to already be preparing for their summer holidays or saving their energy for Euro 2016/Copa America Centenario.

Devesh Rasgotra: This is one of the few times that I remember Chelsea being such underdogs for a home game. West Ham have been superb this year and have a player of the year candidate in Dimitri Payet. Chelsea, on the other hand, have seen their season collapse in the space of one week. Having said all of that, I’m going for a 1-1 draw with the Blues salvaging some pride.

More from The Pride of London

Marco Vonderheide: Everything is pointing to a West Ham victory. Chelsea are struggling while Slaven Bilic has the Hammers competing for a Champions League spot. Hopefully, Guus Hiddink uses this match to keep the youth involved, given that there really isn’t much to fight for this season. If Hiddink does start with the youth from the beginning, I believe Chelsea have a better chance to get a result from this match. However, I say West Ham get a special win at Stamford Bridge, with the score being 2-1.

Taylor Anderson: I worry that our record of beating the Hammers at home will end tomorrow. Our boys are just off at the moment, and without Costa I worry we will have no goal scoring threat. West Ham are in excellent form, and Slaven Bilić will be a candidate for manager of the year (but Rainieri or Pochettino will likely win, depending on the finish).

All in all, I worry our season’s about done, we’re headed for a decidedly mid table finish. All we’ve got to play for is pride, hopefully that’s enough but this year it may not be.What I want to see: 3-1 when Chelsea remember they’re Chelsea and should be thrashing teams at the Bridge.

Realistically: 1-0 to WHU, 1-1 if we get lucky.

As for me? I’m going with a comfortable 2-0 West Ham win. Sorry.
