The latest Chelsea FC transfer rumour to surface regards a move for an Inter Milan attacker. Ivan Perisic is reportedly near the top of Antonio Conte’s wishlist, with the club readying a £23 million bid should the Italian take charge.
The story originally comes by way Italian rumour giants Calciomercato, but it has been picked up by The Metro in the United Kingdom.
"Antonio Conte reportedly has his sights set on the transfer of Ivan Perisic if he becomes Chelsea manager…Chelsea could spend £23million to bring him to Stamford Bridge."

The 27-year-old has built a decent reputation over in the Serie A despite the short time that he has spent there. He has made 27 league appearances for Inter this season, contributing six goals and four assists to the cause. As a result, he has continued to be subjected to transfer speculation.
However, this deal is incredibly unlikely if for nothing but the fact that he only moved last summer. Upon his arrival in the Italian capital, Perisic committed to significant five-year deal. Hence, Chelsea will not be able to realistically pry him away from Inter’s grip unless a lot more than £23 million is coughed up.
This rumour is as pure as it gets and thus should not be taken seriously. But you already know that. It is fun, though, to entertain the thought of such a deal occurring. Could Perisic be a replacement for Eden Hazard?

The Croatian is just one of a number players already linked with the Blues amidst talk of a summer overhaul. Expect transfer speculation to not just continue, but increase, as the opening of the window approaches. Conte has much to do in the next few months.
