Antonio Conte

As we are approaching the end of the season, the talk is about who will be the next Blues boss. Currently, it looks like Antonio Conte will be the chosen one. The Italy boss has confirmed that he is leaving the job at the end of his contract which expires after the European Championships this summer.

His track record is pretty good after leading Juventus to three Serie A titles including an unbeaten league campaign in his first season. Players have praised Conte for his man-management and winning mentality but some players such as Gianluigi Buffon have said that the Italian is very strict and has guidelines that have to be followed. His style is very similar to Mourinho in that he’ll win at all costs but he is less controversial off the pitch than the former Chelsea boss.

If he does get the job, then it will be interesting to see which players he will look to bring in. Paul Pogba has been a name linked with Chelsea for a while now and having previously worked with Conte at Juventus, the Frenchman might be convinced to come to Stamford Bridge. Arturo Vidal is another player who has been linked with the club along with Leonardo Bonucci to replace current captain John Terry.
