Willian is the latest to fall victim to the boredom of journalists, with reports suggesting that the winger could be leaving Chelsea FC for Juventus.

A combination of the international break and a dead season has meant that Chelsea FC are the subject of far too many transfer rumours at the moment. The latest story to emerge regards the player of the season thus far, Willian, with a move to Juventus supposedly in the works.

The Metro picks up the report from Italian outlet Tuttosport, with Juventus reportedly lining up a daring swoop for a trio of Blues players.

"According to Tuttosport, this could lead to a potential triple raid on Stamford Bridge, with Hazard and Willian the latest on Juventus’ radar."

This would be a concerning report for Blues fans to hear, but it does lack proper grounding. Nevertheless, let’s entertain the prospect anyway.

Willian has been in fine form this season for Chelsea, establishing himself as one of the club’s most reliable stars. In a campaign that has been marred by a perceived lack of commitment, the Brazilian has stood out like a beacon of light.

As a result, the winger could well be a target for numerous top clubs. His stock has increased exponentially and thus it is no wonder that leading European outfits are considering a big money move for him.

However, the prospect of a deal is unlikely, especially since he has just signed a contract extension. The player has not indicated a desire to move on and the fans will certainly hope that he doesn’t.

Juventus, with all due respect, are unlikely to be a team capable of luring the Brazilian away from Stamford Bridge. If these rumours involved the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, then Chelsea supporters may be more worried. The Blues will be wanting Willian to be at the centre of their rebuild next season and that will in most probabilities be the case.
