It’s the weekend! And that means football. The Premier League comes knocking again as matters tighten up at the top and the bottom. Unfortunately, Chelsea FC are floundering about with little purpose in mid-table, so fans have the task of drumming up their own excitement for the clash with Swansea City.

Having said that, this will be the Blues’ first game since Antonio Conte was officially appointed as the boss for next season. With that, there is a certain buzz around Chelsea supporters at the moment, one that blends relief, enthusiasm and trepidation.

God knows what the players are feeling, though. The bulk of the squad will be playing for their Stamford Bridge careers in the coming weeks. Here’s your four-point preview for Saturday’s match.
