1. Will youth continue?

On the back of the international break, Guus Hiddink finally made good on his promises to employ some youth by naming a much-changed side for the Aston Villa game. Chelsea went on to win the game 4-0 with debuts handed to Matt Miazga and Jake Clarke-Salter (and Alexandre Pato).

The same tactics were followed last weekend but the result was markedly different. When up against a team that was not a complete and utter joke, they couldn’t bring it together and fell to defeat. Swansea City had admittedly more to play for as they looked to eradicate any slim chance of relegation, but the youngsters were simply not good enough. Miazga was even substituted at half-time after a bit of a horror show.

With Manchester City providing a significantly larger threat, will Hiddink persevere with the inexperienced players? City are in a battle for a Champions League spot and should bring their best so it will be interesting to see whether Hiddink opts for the more senior squad members in order to be in with a better of chance of taking something away.

What do you think the interim boss should do?
