According to interim boss Guus Hiddink, Eden Hazard is set to return in some capacity this weekend as Chelsea FC travel to take on AFC Bournemouth.
When I mean in some capacity, I do mean playing capacity. He’s not going to turn up as the kitman or anything. Anyway, Guus Hiddink stated that after some six weeks out, Eden Hazard could feature for Chelsea FC tomorrow as they square off with Bournemouth.
Speaking in his customary pre-match press conference on Friday, the interim boss delivered the good news.
"He is available and will travel. Not for the whole game, but he’s available to play. This week he trained physically without any complaints, which is a good signal. He was very alive. – via chelseafc.com"
Despite certain criticisms and complaints, it has indeed been perceived as good news by Blues fans. “How do you know that?” I hear you ask. Well, Twitter obviously…
Hopefully Eden Hazard is 100% fit, no need to test him... But if he is fully fit, then I can't wait to see him return to action!

Good to see Hazard fit. Will he have a good end to the season? #CFC

The Belgian has been subjected to fervent speculation regarding his Stamford Bridge future. A lot of it was self-generated after he failed to rule out a move to PSG, but a player of his (supposed) calibre will always have to deal with transfer rumours.
He has endured a poor season and his non-existence has helped explain Chelsea’s overall dire state. However, Hazard reportedly confirmed that he wants to stay with the Blues as Antonio Conte leads the club into a new era and the fans are seemingly still behind him.
The Belgian has been on the sidelines for the best part of six weeks with an injury that has not been properly defined. After this break of sorts, he should be raring to go as the season reaches its end. Despite there being nothing to play for, Hazard will be eager to show Blues fans that they should be excited as they head into the next campaign.
