1. Lineup Shuffle Continues

As has been customary for the past few weeks, and will be until the end of the season, manager Guus Hiddink opted to rotate the team a bit more for today’s match. Most notably, John Obi Mikel, a natural defensive midfielder, would get the start in central defense. New boy Matt Miazga impressed early on, but showed signs of inexperience, and clearly hadn’t done enough to impress Hiddink in the lead up to the match.

Eden Hazard would finally make his return to the starting eleven after nearly five weeks out of the lineup. Asmir Begovic would get another chance to impress for the suspended Thibaut Courtois, while the likes of Alexandre Pato, Radamel Falcao and Ruben Loftus-Cheek would all be available off the bench.
