4. Fabregas Impresses

The highlight of the match was undoubtedly the spectacular passing play from Cesc Fabregas. The playmaking midfielder was another one of the many Chelsea players who suffered from a terrible dip in form, but pulled all the strings in today’s game.

He played the final ball for Pedro, finding him on the right flank before he cut inside and chipped the goalkeeper. Fabregas also assisted on Eden Hazard’s goal which doubled the Chelsea lead. He then found Willian who scored in similar fashion for Chelsea’s third goal.

The man who said that he had forgotten how to play football secured three assists in the span of 66 minutes. The fine performance will probably leave many Chelsea fans wondering where this type of class was all season.
