Antoine Griezmann – Atletico Madrid’s fleet-footed Frenchman has had the best season of his career thus far and has helped push Atletico to their second Champions league final in three years. He would cost a mighty pretty penny but Chelsea would be delighted to have him.

It does appear though that all the rumblings out of Spain are that he’ll be staying on the Iberian peninsula for the foreseeable future. It simply makes the most sense for him. Atletico have established themselves in the elite areas of European football that Chelsea will spend the next year and foreseeable future trying to force themselves back into.

Hatem Ben Arfa – The former Newcastle crazy man has seemingly turned himself around while playing for Nice in France and is apparently angling for another shot at the big time. The problem with Ben Arfa was never talent, he possessed it in spades, it was that he acted like a crazy person. This is the sort of transfer that Chelsea seem to be closer to making right now although I don’t see them ultimately going through with it.
