Nemanja Matic – Oh how the mighty have fallen. Nemanja Matic was once the key to victory for Chelsea as he patrolled the midfield with aplomb and grace. Now he seems to be one of the generally agreed upon reasons for Chelsea’s worst ever Premier League defense.

Apparently he is being looked at by Juventus and could be involved in some sort of player swap deal. Recent rumors say Manchester United want him for £45 million but that sounds unrealistic considering they already have Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin in defensive midfield.

Furthermore, £45 million is an unbelievable sum for a player who has demonstrated that it is in fact possible to forget how to play a game you’ve been playing your whole life.

Oscar – Has been a target or Juventus for many years and is again on their radar this summer. I don’t know how realistic this is unless the clubs end up agreeing on a massive player and cash swap including multiples from both sides.

Juventus’ interest in Oscar originated with Conte many years ago and he is known to be a big fan of the talented Brazilian. As a result, he should remain at Stamford Bridge.
