If there was a campaign to confirm to everyone around the world that every league is bullsh*t when compared to the Premier League this one will be it. With Jose Mourinho confirming his arrival at Manchester United, England’s top flight will now be home to the best managerial talent, the largest TV deal and (with 14 million fans) the largest attendance of any league in Europe.
This year will be the most competitive, enthralling and demanding season perhaps since the league’s founding in 1992. So light ‘em if you’ve got ‘em ladies and gentlemen. Here is Chelsea’s battle plan.
