On the back of a horrific campaign, Chelsea and new boss Antonio Conte have much work to do this summer. Here are some players they should be targeting.

Chelsea’s  2015/16 season has been a major disappointment. That much is clear. With the expectations of backing up the incredible performances of last season, results have most definitely been unexpected. Major players have underperformed, no opportunities for European silverware are available next season, and perhaps the greatest manager in Chelsea history is joining one of our biggest rivals

In what seems a dark place for the fans, players, and coaching staff, a potential shining light has emerged. Antonio Conte. Widely regarded as one of the most influential managers in the world, Conte will be hoping he can recreate some of the magical form from the 2014/15 season.

In order to do this he will need backing from the board, and for Roman Abramovich to reach into his pocket and start spending some money.

Come forth the summer transfer window. In what will most likely be the biggest window in our history, Conte will need to decide who he wants to bring in to propel Chelsea back to the heights of European and English football.

Thus, I have created a list of dream, realistic and already-owned youth players for the defence, midfield and attack to be targeted this summer.
