Antonio Conte met the public for his first press conference as Chelsea FC manager this morning. While he did not reveal anything earth-shattering he showed Chelsea fans the barely-restrained passion and intensity that always courses through him.

Now we can finally say that the Antonio Conte era is underway. The new Chelsea boss sat down with the media for the first time in this capacity as the world listened to what he had to say.

There were plenty of questions, ranging from his unique and extensive list of formations, to his thoughts on the calibre of managerial talent in the Premier League this season.

Speaking in surprisingly decent and fluent English, Conte faced the British media and conveyed his personality. The amount of passion he has and the serious nature with which he treats his work was evident in the way he carried himself.
