Chelsea player ratings in opening night win over West Ham United

In the Premier League opener, Chelsea took on West Ham United as a London derby set the stage for the season.

The Premier League is back! I’m thrilled, you’re thrilled, everyone’s thrilled. In the European Championships and the pre-season, Chelsea fans were given a taster of what Antonio Conte will bring to the side.

The Blues (apart from the first 10 minutes) controlled the game. Ending up with 62% of the possession and 16 shots, 6 of which were on target. Chelsea got underway with a perfect start to the season and showcased their two new signings.
