Scott Brant: Eden Hazard v Crystal Palace, 2015

With the Blues leading the Premier League from wire to wire, Crystal Palace were one of four teams remaining. Jose Mourinho’s men only needed three points to secure their crown. The trophy was inevitably Blue!

The Belgian was clearly Chelsea’s best player all season. It had to be him to score the goal and secure the three points. Having said that, Hazard took the penalty poorly. The man who is normally as cool as the other side of the pillow may have felt the moment.

However, once he calmly headed that blocked ball into the corner, the joy set in. I love a lot of moments in that last title season, but that goal is the most memorable. It was in typical Chelsea fashion as well: never the easy way, but always getting the job done.
