9. Mount never fails to impress. He has a simple, direct playing style that is a joy to watch and is quite effective. He was the architect of multiple moves which Van Ginkel, Solanke and Batshuayi failed to put away. At 17, he was as good as any player out on the pitch today. He will be spearheading this year’s FA Youth Cup campaign and hopefully lead the team to a fourth consecutive win.. 7. England. MASON MOUNT

Solanke put in a dynamic performance that deserved a goal. He had the worst luck of all in front of goal but he linked up well with his teammates, receiving the ball in tight areas and showing off his technique and ability to play quick one-twos to get a shot off on goal. Although his contract situation remains unresolved, he has made it to the first team bench a couple of times and has been a part of Conte’s squad. Conte claims to have plans for him. Hopefully, this situation will be resolved soon to the satisfaction of all parties involved.. 41. England. DOMINIC SOLANKE. 9

MICHY BATSHUAYI. 9. When someone scores two excellent goals in a game, its hard to criticize their performance. Batshuayi used his strength to good effect multiple times to get away from his markers and get shots away. He arguably should have won a penalty as he was pulled back while shooting after rolling a defender. However, there remain a few criticisms. Michy was often guilty of trying to turn and shoot when a pass or a layoff to his fellow teammates would have been the better option. He simply won’t get that sort of time and space at the top level and neither will he be able to physically best his markers consistently. This is the area of his game that needs to improve.. 23.
