Max Hodder – Eden Hazard

When asked about who my favourite Chelsea player is, there were number of different options that sprung to mind. Club legends such as Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Gianfranco Zola and John Obi Mikel? Or players that impacted me as a fan such as Juan Mata and Diego Costa.

But for me, it was an easy choice. Eden Hazard. In my opinion, Hazard is the most skilled footballer Chelsea Football Club has ever seen. His ability to beat opponents (Pablo Zabaleta and Charlie Adam come to mind…) is a joy to watch, and he is one of the main reasons I became such a huge fan of the club.

He has also provided me with some of my favourite moments as a fan. With his goal against Manchester United in the 2014/15 season to help clinch the title and his goal against City earlier this season, Hazard has a special place in my heart.

It also helps when he is the best player in the Premier League and a future ballon d’or winner. Please stay at Chelsea for eternity Eden.
