Chelsea take on Liverpool as they look to expand their lead at the top of the Premier League. Here are score predictions from The Pride Of London staff.

Chelsea could take a step closer to the Premier League title on Tuesday when they visit Liverpool. Let’s go around the table and get some predictions!

Daniel McClue: 2-2. This game is so hard to predict. Even when Liverpool won the first matchup, Chelsea were all over them the second half. An angry Jurgen Klopp sees his team rush out to a 2-0 lead before half time. Antonio Conte switches to a 4-2-4 and the extra men up front cause the Reds too much trouble.

Andre Floyd: 3-0, Liverpool. The dark arts took the weekend off to enjoy a bit of parasailing and wine tasting while the lads dealt with Brentford. They are back, refreshed, and have quite the task ahead of them. A desperate Jurgen Klopp Liverpool side is going to look like ten Tasmanian Devils on *cocaine. In the end I think Liverpool exhaust themselves to get the opening goal but Chelsea keep pressing forward until they crack, 2-1 Blues.

Rayna Sidhu: 1-0 Chelsea. Liverpool will be tense from the start after their run of losses. The Blues don’t need to put in the performance of a lifetime but just need to keep control. If they remain defensively focused, Liverpool are manageable. Hazard to run riot, Fabregas to be his magician self, and Costa with the goal.

Scott Brant: Liverpool have a very high work rate, and a more congested fixture list. Chelsea are incredibly efficient and productive. It will be exhilarating to watch. Blues pull it out getting the revenge they crave from the first meeting earlier in the season.

More from The Pride of London

Travis Tyler: 5-1. Yeah that’s right, Liverpool will get an early goal, their fans will sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” about a 1000 times, and then Liverpool will let a silly equalizer in around the 60th minute. Their shoulders will drop as Chelsea lay it on thick and fast for the remainder of the match, with each goal causing Klopp to go ballistic and his team to sink deeper and deeper until the final whistle ends their misery and their title challenge.

Khaled Abdallah: 3-1. Liverpool are still a threat going forward but Sadio Mane is still a doubt as they scramble to bring him back. Even if they do, what sort of condition will he be in is still a question. They are a disaster at the back and with so many of Chelsea’s key players rested against Brentford they will be raring to go so they can punish whatever tired scrubs Jurgen Klopp sends out.

Ben Croft: With Liverpool low on confidence we have to take the game to them. If we get a draw I’ll be happy but this is a huge opportunity to knock them out of a title race again! Costa and Pedro with the goals.

Ejoh Celestine: The Reds are currently in disarray and are likely to go gung-ho in a bid to halt their recent run of bad results at home, which may play right into the hands of Chelsea’s compact counter attacking style. Their fluid front three could cause problems, but their fragility at the back could be their ultimate downfall.
