It’s a must-win game for both sides and The Pride Of London writers think that Manchester City’s visit to Chelsea will result in goals galore.

After defeat against Crystal Palace, Chelsea need to beat Manchester City for their own reassurance. We walked around The Pride Of London offices this afternoon to get some predictions from our staff. Goals are coming, apparently.

Rayna Sidhu: 3-2. It’s going to be a tense game with both teams looking for nothing less than all three points. Chelsea will need to stay focused but the threat of City’s attack will prove too dangerous to stop completely. Hazard, Luiz and Costa with the goals.

Daniel McClue: 5-3 City. I’m scared, this fixture is scary, what happened at the weekend was scary. Absolute chaos ensues at the Bridge. City score 3 goals early on, sending the Blues into panic mode. Hazard, Matic and Fabregas score to make it 3-3 before Costa gets sent off. City score two late goals to break our hearts.

Travis Tyler: 1-0. Chelsea will be hungry for a win, but Pep Guardiola will show he has learned hack and slash during his time in England in a feisty match. One penalty will be the difference as Hazard buries the spot-kick he earned late in the match.

More from The Pride of London

Scott Brant: 2-2. Personally, draws the rest of the way will suffice. City will look dominant for large chunks. Their poor defense will be what costs them the 2 points. Hazard and Costa with goals and Kevin De Bruyne with a brace.

Andre Carlisle: 4-1, City. The dark arts were still in vacation mode last week and for that they apologize. Although it sure would have been nice to ease back into it while its counterparts FAIRNESS and GOODWILL got off their asses for once. No matter, eyes forward now. City score first, tension mounts, then Chelsea erupt in the second half and score three in twenty minutes. It is written.

Ajitesh Rasgotra: 3-0. Chelsea need a win and they are made of stern stuff. Just as the tabloids try to derail the train, the Blues will deliver an impressive performance and tell the rest of the league to p*ss off.
