Chelsea travel to Dean Court to take on Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. The POL staff think that the Blues will be able to get the job done.

The Premier League rolls on this weekend with Bournemouth hosting Chelsea at the Vitality Stadium. With a vital win midweek, the Blues will be looking to tick another game off the list. We went around the virtual Pride Of London office to get some predictions from the guys and gals.

Daniel McClue: 6-0. The Blues want to get this done and dusted quickly, and with a full strength squad they turn on the heat. Hazard scores a hattrick to overtake Kante in the player of the season race, Batshuayi and Chalobah score off the bench before Azpilicueta scores a screamer.

Rayna Sidhu: 2-0. Hopefully Spurs will have slipped up in the earlier kick-off, giving Chelsea a bit more room to breathe. The game will be hard fought, and Bournemouth will challenge the Blues defence. They’ll threaten to score but won’t be able to finish their chances as Courtois gets back to his clean-sheet ways. Hazard and Willian with the goals, because a goal from Costa has become wishful thinking.

Travis Tyler: 4-3. Bournemouth don’t do anything half-hearted, and they’ll welcome Chelsea with no fear. The match will be a back and forth swashbuckling affair with several golazos, but Bournemouth will be crushed by a late header in added time to cap off what will be remembered as the game of the season.

More from The Pride of London

Scott Brant: 3-1. The Blues must continue to win, getting points is minimum. We cannot give our opponents any hope that we can be caught. Hazard to continue his stellar form and Kante comes out reminding everybody why he’s mentioned amongst POY candidates.

Andre Carlisle: 2-1, Bournemouth. “No rest for the wicked,” Uncle Hades always says. Chelsea keep bumping into mid-table sides on their best runs of the season. Bournemouth haven’t lost in their last five matches and just took two points from Liverpool at Anfield via an 87th minute goal. Also, Chelsea have only scored more than two goals on the road once and Bournemouth striker Joshua King has scored three times as many goals in the PL in 2017 as Diego Costa. The match comes down to Diego caring about scoring goals over picking fights, he finally does, and outscores Bournemouth on his own. 3-1.

Brendan McDonnell: Can I answer this after Spurs/Watford? After the emotional high of the mid-week victory, this has all the makings of a letdown match. Heading to Bournemouth, who have been in pretty decent form as of late, makes me a wee bit pensive. They seem to draw against the top of the table and beat on the lesser squads.
