The latest batch of Chelsea transfer rumours sees Real Madrid grow in confidence surrounding their pursuit of Eden Hazard, while Diego Costa prefers sunny weather.

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are reportedly inching closer to Chelsea exits as the summer looms. Real Madrid have been tailing the Belgian for a few years and, according to the latest rumours, they are more confident than ever of signing him. Costa, meanwhile, likes barbecues.

The Mirror claim that the Spanish giants are willing to chuck Alvaro Morata into the mix in their quest to sign Hazard.

"Real Madrid increasingly believe they will land Eden Hazard in a record-breaking deal this summer…Real Madrid are ready to put their Spain international striker Alvaro Morata into any deal, with the total package likely to be worth in excess of £120m."

Hazard has returned to his world-beating form this season. The winger was a severe disappointment during the 2015/16 campaign, causing many to question his attitude and true quality.

However, he has dazzled the Stamford Bridge crowds this term, proving that he is one of the league’s finest talents. As a result, his suitors have also returned to the fold.

While no Chelsea fan will want to see Hazard leave, if Real Madrid table such a lucrative package Chelsea officials will find it difficult to resist.

Furthermore, from a player’s perspective, an opportunity to play for Madrid (and as one of their star players) is something that cannot be turned down.

Meanwhile, Diego Costa has been constantly linked with a departure. The striker has failed to properly settle into life in the capital since arriving. Now, The Sun believe that a lack of barbecues will drive him away.

Yeah nah, I’m not joking.

"Self-styled hardman Costa wants out because England is not sunny enough.A source said: “Diego loves having barbecues. It is a major part of the social scene in places like Madrid where the weather is pretty much guaranteed.“His house is not far from the Chelsea stadium and he doesn’t have a huge garden.”"

The fact that people get paid to write this nonsense is beyond me. This is barely worth a discussion on my part, so I’ll leave that to you. Why do you think Costa wants to leave? Let us know your ridiculous reasons in the comments below!
