Paulo Dybala – Barrett Rouen

Chelsea should buy Paulo Dybala this summer. I’ve been saying this since long before it became fashionable simply because it’s true.

He’s in the right part of his career for the move and has the technical ability and strength to adapt to the Premier League. The Premier League is so fast paced that players without the technical ability to minimize their touches and maximize effectiveness really struggle.

Dybala also works because he’s the sort of striker who will fit into the Chelsea team for years to come. Coming through the ranks, Chelsea have Tammy Abraham who (Kylian Mbappe aside) might be one of the best young strikers in Europe. He is the perfect larger strike partner option for Dybala.

When Chelsea move into the 3-5-2, the Abraham-Dybala partnership could be worth more goals than any other partnership in Europe, assuming Hazard is not in the picture. Dybala has a great record of assisting goals as well as scoring them which makes him ideal as a partner in a two striker system. He’ll be expensive but his age and his quality make him actually worth the money.
