Chelsea transfer news: Diego Costa wants out as Romelu Lukaku wants in
The latest Chelsea transfer rumours claim that Diego Costa will move to China, while Romelu Lukaku will replace him at Stamford Bridge.
The transfer rumour mill continues to spin out stories ahead of the summer. The latest stories concern a pair of strikers, with Romelu Lukaku pushing to replace a seemingly outbound Diego Costa at Chelsea.
The Daily Mail claims that the incumbent Blues striker has been offered a lucrative deal by Chinese Super League outfit, Tianjin Quanjian.
"Diego Costa remains a £620,000-per-week NET target for the Chinese Super League as doubts linger over his long-term future at Chelsea…Costa understandably remains keen on a potential switch given the £32million-per-year on offer."

Costa has been perennially linked with a Chelsea exit over the last two seasons. Whether it be homesickness causing him to consider a return to Atletico Madrid, or silly money being tabled by teams in exotic leagues, Costa appears to be constantly on the verge of leaving.
At this point, many Blues fans want the club to accept any bids and send him packing. His form has been poor since the turn of the year and he could even be viewed as detrimental to Chelsea’s title run-in.
Meanwhile, Chelsea may just be handed a fantastic replacement on a silver platter. Lukaku wants to quit Everton, but The Telegraph reports that he will push specifically for a West London return.
"Romelu Lukaku has told friends that he wants to rejoin Chelsea this summer…Lukaku is understood to feel he has unfinished business at Chelsea, where he failed to score during three years at the club, and wants to prove he can be a success there."

The Belgian has developed significantly since joining Everton. He currently leads the league with an astounding 24 goals and he looks every bit the top-class striker he always promised to be.
Lukaku would be able to slot immediately into Chelsea’s starting eleven and is appropriately built for an Antonio Conte team. With his ability to hold up the ball, bring others into play and make a run himself, Lukaku is perfect for the Blues.
He will not come cheap, though, with the Toffees reportedly looking for a fee close to £100 million. This may just be tabloid talk, but don’t expect Lukaku to go for any less than £50 million.
