Chelsea welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening as the title race hots up. Read our score predictions and have your say in our poll!

After a disappointing loss against Manchester United, Chelsea got back to winning ways against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup. On Tuesday night, they welcome Southampton to West London as they seek to take one step closer to the Premier League title. Who do you think will win? Vote in our poll, leave your scores in the comments and read the thoughts of our writers!

Travis Tyler: 3-0 Chelsea. The Blues march all over the Saints who have nothing to play for. Diego Costa will resume his terrible form while Eden Hazard goes into overdrive to be involved in all three goals.

Andre Carlisle: 1-0, Southampton. I mean come on, the dark arts have been doing extra push-ups ahead of a team known as the Saints. Relegation and the Europa League are about the same number of points away from Southampton on either side. A feisty Chelsea meeting a complacent Southampton paves the way for the return of a clean sheet as Hazard remains in fine form. 2-0 Blues.

More from The Pride of London

Daniel McClue: 2-1. Squeaky bum time for the Blues as they leave it very late. Ake scores the first goal with a header from a corner before Classie hits a 20 yard shot off Courtois’ ankle and into the net. Chelsea finally get a break from the officials as Costa scores in the 96th minute despite only 4 minutes being added on. To everyone’s surprise Jose Mourinho turns up for Southampton’s post match interview to complain about the refs on the Saints behalf.

Scott Brant: 3-1. Down to the nitty gritty, only so many matches left. If the Blues find a way to lose, then Spurs could possibly be 1 point behind them by Thursday morning. That is a scary thought – Conte will most certainly have his troops ready. Hazard, Hazard, Hazard, it’s all about the Belgian now – it’s him that has to get us the trophy. Costa is useless, his bags are packed, it’s only right I drop his lazy ass off at the airport.

Barrett Rouen: 2-1. Southampton are a good side who play football the right way. They’re not going to be pushed around and Gabbiadini is a magnificent player. Southampton to score first and then Chelsea will wake up second half.
