With John Terry leaving Chelsea in the summer, a myriad of clubs have been linked with him. West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, addressed rumours.

John Terry will temporarily end his association with Chelsea this summer, as he looks to play for another team for the first time in his career. Many clubs have been linked with him, including West Ham, but Slaven Bilic has played down the reports.

Speaking to the press, Bilic tried to dismiss rumours claiming that the Hammers have significant interest in the Chelsea veteran.

"“I said things about him not more than any other manager asked about him as a player, as a leader, his career,” Bilic said. “And that’s all.” – via Express"

Terry is not about to retire, despite making his senior debut in 1998. The Englishman still thinks that he has another year left in him and, judging by the interest, so do quite a few clubs.

A West Ham move is not unfathomable. Such a switch would be incredibly convenient for Terry, as he would not have to relocate. Furthermore, he will be able to continue competing at Premier League level.

However, the amount of playing time he would receive is questionable. Terry has barely taken the field for the Blues this season. At the age of 36, infrequent football will only accelerate your regression as a player. Bilic would probably be unable to play him every week due to a lack of fitness.

Meanwhile, he may just want a complete break from this league and maximise his earnings in his final years. There are reportedly a number of interested parties in the highly lucrative Chinese Super League and Major League Soccer. Following in the footsteps of fellow Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard, is a realistic scenario.

Where do you think Terry should go? Does he still have the talent and sharpness to play in the Premier League? Or is it time to sign that mega cheque and pack his bags?
